WILD ABOUT READING AT VALLEY VIEW JUNIOR HIGH

As you trek through the halls of Valley View Junior High you can see how Wild about Reading
our students, teachers, and staff are through their outstanding work! The halls and doors have
been decorated with colorful & wild safari animals following our campus reading theme. You
can also see student work posted as well as pictures of our students avidly reading their

library books. Undoubtedly, the beginning of the year has certainly been one full of enthusiasm
for reading at our campus. Our students have shown great gains in their reading performance
in the Star Reader Program. Over 450 of our students have met or surpassed their 21-point
goal for the six weeks. We are talking over 70% of our population. And the end of the six
weeks is still a few days away. In all, you can see that Valley View Junior High has gone wild
about reading!
