Positive
EXPERIENCES
Technology in the
Classrooms
Valley View Elementary teachers continue on their path to academic excellence using the
latest technology available. Teachers are not only using computers to instruct, to test, to
conduct research, and to motivate students, but they are using iPads to do the same and
enhance the lesson. Through the use of other technology (projectors, the Internet, and
applications) the teacher is able to project what is on the iPad to the screen for students to
see and continue the lesson. Using iPads during instruction allows teachers the freedom to
walk around the classroom, monitor students, continue with the lesson, check for under-
standing, and more importantly, involve the students in the lesson. Students are able to solve problems, answer questions, and
show their work, all via the iPad. Our staff and students are truly excited with the new technology in the classroom.
Valley View Earns High Rating

the highest rating and earned all eligible distinctions. Campuses are rated in four areas: Student
