Valley View Elementary Wants You To Meet Sir Hops-A-Lot

Meet Sir Hops-a-Lot, Sir Handsome-Gordo, Mr. Squeaks, Francine, and Winter. All love chil-
dren, are friendly, and live at the Valley View Elementary (VVE) science lab. All help Mrs.

Ruby Clark, VVE science lab teacher, moJvate children throughout the science lessons. They
encourage children to work hard, to study, and to work hard.

Sir Hops-a Lot is a fluffy rabbit. Students love to pet him and touch his fluffy, sob fur. He is
almost 6 years old and has been moJvaJng children at VVE since 2016. Francine and Winter
are two mischievous ferrets who love to sleep and run around the science lab greeJng chil-

dren. They have been at Valley View Elementary for 7 years. Mr. Squeaks is a lovable guinea
pig. He is the newest member of the VVE pet family. Sir Handsome-Gordo is a friendly

bearded dragon. Throughout the years, our students have seen these pets grow, and the
pets have seen our children grow and learn. The children love visiJng the science lab, and
enjoy seeing, touching the pets as

they study in the science lab. These
pets have had a posiJve impact in our

children’s life, learning, and have
helped increase the children’s love of

science.
