Valley View High School Celebrates Red Ribbon Week
V alley View High School celebrated Red Ribbon Week 2021 with different activities. On

Tuesday, October 26, 2021, Pastor/Author Roman Gutierrez honored Valley View High
School by visiting students and speaking to them about his troubles with drugs and al-
cohol during his teenage years
and how his life transformed after his
spiritual beliefs became stronger.
Gutierrez also presents his story in his
book, Twice Dead, where he details

on his challenges during these difficult
times in his life and encourages young
adults to stay away from all sub-
stances and bad company. Valley
View students also had the opportuni-
ty to dress up in different attires each

day of the week to show their support.
