Integrating Technology to Classroom Instruction
Innovative ways in teaching and learning arise
constantly in today’s age. Delivery methods in classroom
instruction have expanded in various realms including
technology. Our Valley View Junior High students are using
the most up-to-date devices & applications in their day-to-
day classroom instruction. With iPads and Chromebooks
at their fingertips, students in their Reading classes utilize
applications such as Google Classroom, Slides, & Drawing
to deliver assignments and homework. Teachers instruct
using Near Pod, Pear Deck, and Quizizz-all interactive,
presentation tools that actively engage students in their
learning. In Math classes, students are solving problems
on iPads using Kahoot, Study
Island, Connected McGraw-Hill and Math Antics, all use-
ful tools in mathinstruction. Technology integration at our
campus has clearly enhancedclassroom instruction and
student learning.
