Science
AT VVE
Science Fair
Valley View Elementary students got an
opportunity to showcase their science wits
as they competed in the annual science fair
held Tuesday, March 5. The students did an
amazing job. Students in second through
fourth grade conducted experiments using
the scientific method and either accepted
or rejected their null hypothesis based
on the data acquired, and students in
kindergarten and first grade built models.
The results were as follows:

Dance Team
Participates
at BorderFest
Parade
The Valley View Elementary Dance team, under the
direction of Ms. Marisol Garza, participated at the
43rd Hidalgo BorderFest Grand Parade Saturday,
March 2. This year’s parade theme was “celebrating
India.” Dressed in beautiful traditional attire from
India, the children danced to 3 beautiful traditional
14 Indian songs. They proudly job danced throughout
the parade route paying tribute to India and its
people. Dancing in front of thousands of people
proved to be an amazing experience for our children.
