▸ All students and staff will be required to use hand sanitizer when entering and exiting
common areas.

▸ The number of students in a common area will be based on social distancing practices.

▸ Visual reminders will be displayed for social distancing throughout common areas.
Informational graphics and markers will be posted to help with the social distancing of six
feet.

▸ The use of Google Meets is preferred when possible, including PTO meetings, ARDs,
LPAC, booster club meetings, and events.

▸ No in-person assemblies will be held in the fall.

Transportation COVID-19 Protocol: Parent Information
The Valley View ISD Transportation Department offers the following guidance to parents and
caregivers regarding school bus transportation for daily bus routes. The district is implementing
safety protocols and disinfecting efforts. Families are encouraged to drop students off, carpool, or
walk with their student to school to reduce possible exposure on buses.

Bus Expectations

▸ Students shall maintain social distancing, whenever possible (if there is adequate space and it is
safe to do so).

▸ All bus drivers and students will wear masks while riding on the school buses.

▸ Students shall NOT share food, drinks, personal devices, or any other items while riding the
bus.

▸ Students shall use hand sanitizer (provided near the bus stairwell).
