Valley View ISD MEAL UPDATES:

Valley View ISD Food Services Department is working diligently to enroll students and children
from the community. This meal program is open to kids 18 years and younger and to members of
surrounding communities. Kids do not need to be enrolled in the Valley View ISD school district.

The Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) has authorized “No Child Present Meal Flexibility”. We

will be able to provide meals to parents without their children present. Parents and/or Guardians
must be prepared to display on the passenger windshield one of the following documents for each
child:
● Birth certificate
● Individual report cards and/or Progress report
● Official school letter/Email listing children enrolled
● The attendance record for each child.

Curbside meals will be distributed weekly at the following campuses until further notice.
Come by and pick up your 14 breakfasts and 14 lunches weekly! That’s 28 meals per child.

Time: 7:00am-12:30pm

When: Wednesday
Where: VVHS, VVJH, 5TH GRADE, VV ELEM, VV NORTH, VV SOUTH, WE LUCAS
Time:2:00pm-6:00pm

In an effort to reach out to more families, we will pilot curbside distribution of meals on Thursday
at Jones Box Park Las Milpas.
