Family and Fun
Our Family Literacy Night was a huge
success. Although it was a rainy day, our
parents came through and showed up to

support our students. Families enjoyed
their time reading and creating Christmas
crafts together. To end the night, our 6th
grade students sang Christmas songs for all

of those in attendance. It was a great night!
2023 Festival of Lights Parade

On Friday, December 1st, Student
Council members, VVE Drumline, A.R.

Century Club members and the VVE
Dance team did an amazing job
representing Valley View Elementary

as they greeted and performed at the
Festival of Lights Parade for those in
attendance. We would like to thank
the students, staff and parents for
their commitment and continued

support in helping Valley View
Elementary shine. We are proud of
our students for their hard work!

Inspiring a LOVE for Reading!
The Century Club achievement is a new reading

recognition at VVE this year. The objective was to
motivate our students to read and our students are
definitely “Roaring with Success”! Kudos to the 94
students who've achieved Century Club status at Valley

View Elementary! Each student has earned a minimum of
100 AR points and maintains a minimum yearly average

of 85%! They're shining stars. Congrats to our
parents and staff for inspiring a love of reading!
