Valley View South Elementary News
Our Valley View South Elementary library is getting ready to set up for their
first book fair of the school year. It’s been more than two years since the last
book fair at the school and students are excited to have this experience. The
book fair will have books, magazines, gadgets, and different educational
accessories for students of all ages. Students will be allowed to come to the
library’s book fair during the week of December 7 through the 16. This will be a
great opportunity for students to grow their personal libraries and enhance
their reading skills. Our librarian and library aide are excited to welcome
students into this year’s book fair.
Nuestra biblioteca de Valley View South Elementary se está
preparando para su primera feria del libro del año escolar. Han
pasado más de dos años desde la última feria del libro en la escuela
y los estudiantes están emocionados de tener esta experiencia. La
feria del libro contará con libros, revistas, gadgets y diferentes
accesorios educativos para estudiantes de todas las edades. Los
estudiantes podrán asistir a la feria del libro de la biblioteca
durante la semana del 7 al 16 de diciembre. Esta será una gran
oportunidad para que los estudiantes hagan crecer sus bibliotecas
personales y mejoren sus habilidades de lectura. Nuestra
bibliotecaria y asistente de biblioteca están emocionadas de dar la
bienvenida a los estudiantes a la feria del libro de este año.escolar.
This past week our students were part of the
City of Hidalgo Christmas Parade. They
joyfully walked throughout the city streets
showcasing their dance moves. Parents,
teachers, and students worked very hard to
put it all together. We want to thank
everyone involved as it was a great success.
La semana pasada nuestros alumnos fueron
parte del Desfile Navideño de la Ciudad de
Hidalgo. Caminaron alegremente por las
calles de la ciudad mostrando sus
movimientos de baile. Los padres, maestros
y estudiantes trabajaron muy duro para
ponerlo todo junto. Queremos agradecer a
todos los involucrados ya que fue un gran
éxito.
