ACHIEVEMENTS
Varsity Baseball team
Congratulations to our Varsity baseball boys. The team finished
district play with a record of 10 and 4, good enough for a 2nd place
Track and Field finish. This is our 4th year in a row returning to the Texas State
Playoffs!!! The Tiger Baseball tradition continues!!
Champions
Congratulations to all the track and field athletes and coaches
for improving our track program week by week. After having
our JV/9th Tiger Relays Meet, on March 7, running smooth
and how its supposed to be, having our kids competing and
getting medals, I want to thank every single person that made
this possible. We also had a Varsity meet on Friday March 8 at
La Feria, which was a great experience and full of excitement.
I want to announce that we had some medalists. We had our Mighty Boys Soccer Team
4X200 m. Relay getting a bronze medal with a time of 1:36.53

22 ONE TEAM, ONE DREAM A Simon Fernandez Signs with
Valley City State University
On February 26th, Simon Fernandez signed with Valley City State University
to play football. Simon is a 3 sport athlete participating in Football, Track
and Powerlifitng. Simon also qualified for State in Powerlifting.
Simon is the first Valley View Quarterback to sign to play with a University.
He led District 16-5A in passing yards and led Valley View to its FIRST
playoff appearance.
