The The Valley View ISD Transportation Department is proud to announce and recognize Mr.
Mario Solis for having received the PCAT Bus Driver of year award . PCAT is an organization
representing school districts throughout the state. Providing guidance and insurance to schools
districts, including Valley View ISD. The award recognizes in a pool of many nominees those bus
drivers that excel in safety, driving records, student role model, and over all exemplary employee.
Mr. Solis among other qualities has proven that he on a daily basis, goes above and beyond, to
ensure students get to school safely. Excellent parent, fellow staff and student feedback. Made it
very easy for the department to nominate Mr. Solis and of course get him recognized as Valley
View ISD bus driver of the year 2019 2020.
