Jaime Perez

School librarians are information experts. If our Librarian does not

know the answer, he knows how to find it. Because he understands

how to search laterally, and access accurate sources, curate, and

authoritative resources, he saves us time and frustration. I like to

think of him as the guru of all things information. Valley View Early

College Campus’ librarian Jaime Perez is not only an information guru,

he is a published author and popular member of Valley View Early

College Campus. This school year he has become a morning celebrity

announcer. Each morning, students are greeted by Mr. Perez’s unique

way of setting the tone for the day with morning announcements, a

spiel about famous a superstar’s birthday, the word of the day and

highlighting a national day. Mr. Perez is an influencer and phenom

and we are so fortunate he works at Early College Campus.
