HIGH SCHOOL
This week’s Tiger Spotlight shines on Mr. Randy Perez,
our newest member of the Math Department. Like many
teachers, Mr. Perez has helped his students become even
more innovative as they work from home. Students built
rollercoasters using cardboard boxes and marbles by
using the engineering design process and their
knowledge of mathematics. These spiraling masterpieces
highlight how classroom learning connects to real-world
applications. Thank you Mr. Perez for teaching our
students to think outside the “box” and for motivating
them to be resourceful by using materials they have at
their disposal through this time of distance learning.
Keep up the great work and thank you for all that you
do! Go Tigers!
