CTE Staff

A big shout out to the Career and Technical Education Department (CTE) for their great

collaborative work during the first weeks of the new school year. They made sure that

everything was ready for their students to start off the year on a positive, welcoming and

productive note. They worked hard on their lesson plans incorporating innovative

synchronous and asynchronous teaching methods, ensured that their students, stayed

positive, focused and on task and took extra efforts in looking out for their students'

academic well-being in these difficult and trying times. Their communication and

collaborative were amazing through emails, phone calls, and Google Hangout chats on

sharing ideas, insights, and solutions from entering attendance to ideas on lesson delivery,

solving technical difficulties and most importantly--words of encouragement and support

for each other. The CTE Department staff members are from the HS; Norma Garcia (Dept.

Head), Gerardo Cuellar, Marytza Perez, Lisa Sepulveda, Marta Andaverdi, Narciso Eli De La

Cruz, Ralph Herrera, Miguel Puete, Randy Pererz, Corina Fuentes, and Edna Zavala. From

ECC: Jason Sammons and Erlouse Francis and From the JH: Ruth Hernandez. Supporting

these efforts are Marialuisa Herrera, CTE Secretary and Mayra Salas, Instructional Aide as

well as all campus administrations and counselors from their respective campuses.
